Express Yourself with Reflections
The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life.
Unleash your creativity and let your imagination shine! The National PTA's Reflections program is back, offering our Colts a unique chance to express themselves through art. Whether your child loves to paint, draw, dance, write, or compose music, this is their moment to explore their thoughts, feelings, and ideas through their own original creations.
This long-standing program is more than just an art contest—it's an opportunity for students to develop artistic literacy, build confidence, and discover a lifelong passion for the arts. Each year, over 300,000 students from Pre-K to Grade 12 participate nationwide, responding to a special student-created theme.
Encourage your little artists to join in and take part in a tradition that's been inspiring young minds for over 50 years. Let's boost their confidence and celebrate the incredible talent within our Craig Elementary community!
I Belong
The 2025-2026 PTA Reflections theme, “I Belong,” invites students to explore what it means to feel accepted, valued, and connected. This theme emphasizes the importance of inclusion and belonging; whether within families, schools, friend groups, or communities. Through art forms such as Dance Choreography, Music Composition, Literature, Photography, Film Production, and Visual Arts, students can express personal stories of finding their place, building connections, and celebrating diversity. It’s an opportunity for young artists to reflect on the people, places, and experiences that make them feel seen and supported. Families can join in celebrating the power of belonging, reminding every child that they are an essential part of something greater.
